Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using any of the services offered by Lifeline Litigation Loans. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Definitions
For clarity throughout this document, the following terms carry the meanings defined here:
- "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions, as updated from time to time.
- "Company," "We," "Us," or "Our" means Lifeline Litigation Loans, a business operating from 5000 Yonge Street, Suite 1901, Toronto, ON M2N 7E9, Canada.
- "Service" means any educational session, toolkit, or advisory engagement offered by the Company, as described on our website.
- "User" or "You" means any individual or organization that accesses, purchases, or uses any Service.
- "Content" means all materials, workbooks, templates, recordings, reports, and written outputs delivered as part of a Service.
- "Session" means a scheduled group or individual meeting, whether held in person, by telephone, or via video conference.
Acceptance of Terms
By enquiring about, registering for, or purchasing any Service, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- If acting on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use our Services.
Service Description
Lifeline Litigation Loans provides the following general educational and administrative services:
Plain-Language Cost and Timeline Literacy Sessions
A 2-hour group educational session covering how fee structures, billing intervals, and scheduling milestones are commonly organised across service industries. Includes a 24-page workbook, glossary, worked budget sheet, and 90-day replay access. CAD 180 per participant.
Document Intake and Records Organization Toolkit
A 3-week engagement providing templates and walkthroughs for teams that receive, label, and store incoming paperwork. Includes one scoping call, tailored editable template pack, one review session, and 60 days of written follow-up support. CAD 430 per engagement.
Operations Review for Client-Facing Intake Teams
A 6-week B2B advisory engagement examining enquiry handling, triage, and handover processes. Includes a discovery workshop, process observation, written findings report, closing presentation, 30-day check-in, and a reusable measurement sheet. CAD 940 per engagement.
All Services are provided in English and are primarily intended for participants located in Canada, though geographic restrictions do not otherwise apply. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service with reasonable notice.
User Responsibilities
When using our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration or booking.
- Use the Service and all Content for lawful purposes only.
- Attend scheduled sessions on time or provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.
- Treat facilitators and other participants respectfully in any group setting.
- Not reproduce, distribute, or resell any Content without prior written permission from us.
- Not use our Services or Content for the purpose of offering competing educational products without our written consent.
- Maintain confidentiality of any shared workspace credentials or session links.
You agree not to engage in any conduct that interferes with the delivery of Services to other participants or that could damage the reputation or operations of Lifeline Litigation Loans.
Intellectual Property
All Content delivered as part of our Services — including workbooks, templates, reports, glossaries, recordings, and presentations — remains the intellectual property of Lifeline Litigation Loans unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.
Upon full payment, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Content for your own internal operational or administrative purposes. This licence does not include the right to:
- Reproduce or publish Content for public distribution.
- Sublicence, sell, or transfer Content to third parties.
- Modify or adapt Content and represent it as original work.
- Use Content to build or deliver competing services or training programs.
Any feedback or suggestions you provide about our Services may be used by us without obligation to you.
Payment Terms
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless a separate written arrangement has been made.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, electronic funds transfer, and other payment methods as communicated during the booking process.
Refund Policy
- Cancellations with more than 5 business days' notice prior to the scheduled start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a CAD 25 administrative processing fee.
- Cancellations with 2–5 business days' notice are eligible for a credit note equal to the full amount paid, valid for 12 months.
- Cancellations with less than 2 business days' notice, or non-attendance without notice, are not eligible for refund or credit.
- For multi-week engagements (the Toolkit and Operations Review), refunds are prorated based on the proportion of the engagement not yet delivered.

Service Delivery Terms
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver each Service as described and within the stated timeframe. The following conditions apply:
- Scheduled sessions and engagement timelines are set by mutual agreement at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to facilitator unavailability, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, with as much advance notice as practicable.
- Scope changes requested by the User during a multi-week engagement may affect delivery timelines and may be subject to additional fees, communicated in writing before any change is made.
- Replay recordings for group sessions are made available within 3 business days of the session date and remain accessible for the stated period (90 days for the Cost and Timeline Literacy Session).
- Written follow-up support (included in the Toolkit engagement) is provided by email during normal business hours and responses are typically delivered within 2 business days.

Our Services are provided for general educational and administrative purposes only. The following disclaimers apply:
- Nothing delivered through our Services constitutes legal advice, financial advice, accounting guidance, or any other form of regulated professional advice.
- Our Content describes general patterns and common practices in how service industries operate; it does not address any individual situation and should not be applied as though it does.
- No outcome is implied or suggested by participation in any Service. Results depend entirely on how participants apply what they learn within their own organisations.
- We do not endorse any specific service provider, software platform, or external resource that may be referenced in our Content for illustrative purposes.
- Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no express or implied representations about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Ontario and Canada:
- Lifeline Litigation Loans shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, any Service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, internet disruptions, public health emergencies, or acts of government.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lifeline Litigation Loans, its directors, employees, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of any Content or Service; or (c) any misrepresentation made by you in connection with booking or using a Service.
Termination
Either party may terminate a Service engagement by providing written notice. In the event of termination:
- Fees for work already completed or delivered are non-refundable.
- Fees for work not yet commenced may be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy in Section 6.
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a User's access to any Service immediately and without notice if we determine that the User has violated these Terms.
- Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Dispute Resolution) survive termination.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Before commencing any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct discussion. Please contact us at [email protected] to initiate this process.
If direct discussion does not resolve the matter within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to non-binding mediation under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada, or such other mediation body as both parties agree.
Should mediation fail or be declined, the dispute shall be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction in the City of Toronto, Ontario. You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts for this purpose.
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any booking confirmation or service agreement issued for a specific engagement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
- Notices: Notices under these Terms should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to our registered address.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, applicable law, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
For active multi-week engagements, we will notify participants directly of any material changes. Your continued use of any Service after the updated Terms have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
